Fall 2010, leaves, trees, and lots of bags!!

Well, it's fall time, and what can I say, I love fall in the upper midwest! Especially living here and waking up everyday being able to experience such beauty all the time. Some people get lost in the city, if that's you, take a weekend and step outside for a bit. It's an amazing time of the year, but also a subtle reminder that a cold cold winter is coming. Yeah, I could do without that, heh. Otherwise though, man, this is the season for hiking. The past few weeks I've been doing plenty of that, I live very close to many parks, and spend a lot of time at Interstate Park, but this fall took a couple weekends to venture to some other parks, Banning , Jay Cooke and Creek Meadows. I can offically add those to my list of favorites. Many of which are in Northern MN/WI. Not just cause I live here, but the landscape is just amazing from all the rocky cliffs along rivers and huge valleys that were formed from the glaciers way back when. Anyways, some pics. And leeaaaves. Yes I rake, and I rake ALOT. These are justs from round one! Round two is this weekend... eh.
